Adding a new x86 image or related packages to the default x86 image

I agree. Furthermore, x86 devices have often no device identity like other devices using device tree do. With the current implementation, the attended sysupgrade service would be broken since on x86 always use the “generic” image.

@David since you pulled the PR[1] to your staging tree[2], do you mind modifying the commits (for now) that the new packages are added to the default image?
