Backport wireless fixes from main to 23.05

Hi all,

I gathered together a few commits from hostapd, mac80211 and netifd that 
are present in main branch but not in 23.05 branch. I only selected the 
commits that contain wireless fixes and no new features . Should they be 
backported for the next 23.05-rc4?
