Please install the fix from https://github.com/openwrt/openwrt/pull/1815 and 
then create the image again.

Nothing which I would recommend. But the instructions can be found in 
target/linux/ar71xx/image/legacy.mk [1]. But it is most likely a lot
easier to fix the imagebuilder.
